The world is moving closer to Metaverse, many companies including Facebook, Decentraland, Gala Games, etc are already exploring opportunities in this field. Now the UAE Ministry of Economy has announced its third address located in the virtual world.
The UAE Ministry of Economy has announced the opening of a new headquarters located on Metaverse, where everyone can visit.
On Sept. 28, 2022, the UAE Minister of Economy Abdulla bin Touq Al Marri announced this news during Dubai Metaverse Assembly.
This virtual headquarter will feature a multiple-story building each having a different purpose. The visitors willing to see this headquarter can take a ticket to join the Metaverse and interact with customer happiness center employee.
The ministry is already having two headquarters in Abu Dhabi and Dubai and the new virtual headquarter on Metaverse will complement these existing headquarters. This virtual office will facilitate people to access digital services from the UAE Ministry of Economy. The visitor will be able to sign legally binding documents without visiting physical locations.
The new virtual headquarter also contains an auditorium to facilitate virtual conferences and other events. This announcement is a part of Dubai’s government’s Metaverse strategy with the aim to create virtual 40,000 jobs by 2030. The UAE government has also revealed the aim to increase the Blockchain to five times the current number.
This step by the UAE Ministry of Economy can become an inspiration for other countries to join Metaverse and Blockchain technology.
