Now Dogecoin killer Shiba Inu ($SHIB) tokens can be used for booking more than 3 million hotels across the globe.
The famous crypto-inspired travel company Travala has added support for Shiba Inu cryptocurrency as a payment method for booking hotels on their platform.
Travala is a travel company focused on cryptocurrencies currently it is providing support for many cryptocurrencies on their platform and now they have added Shiba Inu as a mode of payment after the community managed to win a battle against its rival Floki Inu meme token.
Now Travala users can use Shiba Inu coins to book over 3 million hotels and accommodations properties around the globe. Before this, Dogecoin which is the original joke cryptocurrency was added to the list of supported payment options by Travala in May 2021.
Earlier in July 2021, Travala has also launched Dtravel, a decentralized home rental service to compete with Airbnb.
This service was started in 2017 and in s short span of time, it has become popular among crypto-friendly travelers across the globe.
